Dr. Brooks has been in practice with Contemporary OB/GYN Associates, LLC since 1989. In 1982, he received his medical degree from the Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana, and completed his residency at Lenox Hill Hospital, New York in 1986.

Dr. Brooks proudly served his country as a National Service Corps scholarship recipient, providing obstetrical and gynecological services in underserved areas in Alabama from 1987 – 1989.

Dr. Brooks is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and also a member of the Montgomery County Medical Soceity and a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.

He currently resides in Darnestown, Maryland with his wife and their two boys. He is an avid hiker and biker, and enjoys watching the USC Trojans football team in action.

Dr. Brooks maintains hospital privileges at Holy Cross Hospital and Laurel Regional Hospital.
