Dr. Alam received her undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 1999, and then went on to complete medical school at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA, in 2003. She then did residency training at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, PA, from 2003-2007, where she subsequently served on the faculty staff for three years after residency. Dr. Alam is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Her professional interests include management of abnormal pap smears and high risk obstetrics. Dr. Alam is very excited to be practicing Obstetics and Gynecology in her hometown. She is married and has three children.
